Between Labor Day Weekend and Ellie's 3rd birthday, there were lots of celebrations around our house. Joel came on L.D. weekend, as did Michelle, Pete and Summer. The next weekend Gary and Brenda and their 3 girls dropped in for brunch and we celebrated summer birthdays, and then on yet another weekend Ellie's little friend and her family, and Grandpa Larsen, joined us for Ellie's birthday. Considering she had an earlier birthday with Jenny's family in St. Paul prior to all of this, she should really feel three now.

When Gary & Brenda's girls come over, there has to be time for "dress up." Notice the bruise on Ellie's forehead? Just a couple of days before her birthday, she tripped stepping on to their driveway, and received a bump on the forehead and skinned her nose. Doesn't that sound typical of little kids?
Great Grandpa Larsen get's to watch Anna for a bit.
After presents, we enjoyed Minnie Mouse themed cupcakes, with a row spelling Ellie's name, that Jenny had prepared for the party.

Oh-my-gosh....the last picture needs no caption. Did she feel special that day, or what?
I love how the nieces always play dress up with her. All of them making great memories.
Such a cute picture of her and little Summer on the bench. Oh, and Anna on Great Grandpa's lap (she doesn't miss much, does she?)
